Since September 11, I have been conducting lectures and workshops in the Glass Department at Korea National University of Arts in South Korea. This visit marks an important first step toward building new partnerships and strengthening academic and creative exchange between universities in Japan and Korea. The university provides an outstanding environment for both education and artistic practice, and the students’ curiosity and engagement made the experience especially rewarding. I believe this initiative will contribute to a lasting and meaningful collaboration. My sincere thanks go to everyone who supported and made this visit possible.
